3-day Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching and plans are in place for a sobriety checkpoint located in east Las Vegas. DUI saturation patrols will start at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2013 and will continue until 3:00 AM.
The areas of concentration are around Vegas Valley Drive and Marion Street. Officers will be on the look-out for drug and alcohol impaired drivers of all ages as well as impaired passengers.

If you are stopped for being impaired, remember you have the right to remain silent and refuse a field sobriety test.
